Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm stuffed even fuller than the turkey was. But I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hopefully we all spent time with family and/or friends, and had a lot for which to be thankful.
Enjoy Black Friday tomorrow and shop til ya drop!

Tagged!

Here ya go! It was fun, although we had to smell paint in the room all night from this little indiscretion on my part.

Getting in on the live art

This was my participation in the Live Art night over at J. Gilligan's. Andy Lee's hand is on the right, David Mack's is on the left, and Dave Crosland's work is at the bottom. I got tagged later by Mahfood. It was great. What a cool souvenir.

Look at me America!

I'm famous. Straight from http://www.wizarduniverse.com :
 Posted by Picasa

OH MY GOD!

I was on Aint it cool news and they had a report on Wizard world. It's an interesting article, and not only because the guy in the weird white home-made costume was the first picture (talking to 2 volunteers-is one of them Stephe?)
Check it out here.
Anyone else find interesting articles about WWTX online? Post em!

Hey

Hey everybody.

Just wanted to say thanks for adding me to this, I had a great time, and can not wait for next year. I'll definetely be around.

Take care,
Taso g.

Survival of the Flittist

That's what it's all about, being on your toes enough to do what the Mighty Steve needs done! What a trip! This was the best one for me so far, even though I know the attendance was lighter than last year, or seemed to be. That's what competition from Nascar will getcha!

Had a blast, guys. Where else do you get to see Ron Perlman 3 feet away when he comes in with security? Or, in previous years, meet Jay and Silent Bob? Not to mention, get to hang out with the coolest artists on earth, and I don't mean just the big name ones, either!

Thanks for putting the blog together. I'll have more pics later.

Adrian Posting - 1st year Volunteer

This was such fun. It was my first time as a volunteer. I too cannot wait until Nov 2006! Am trying to volunteer for WWLos Angeles 2006. Hope to make a week out of the trip.
You guys were great, wish I had the camera instead of my wife otherwise would have snapped pict of the Thin Orange Line! :)

Hope to see you all again next year. Lets keep in touch.

The email has gone out, so there will be other volunteers joining soon. Looking forward to Josh, Link and Darren, Brittany, and maybe we can get Fox to join.
Anyone else?

Other Volunteers

I know there were more people there than just us. I'm considering emailing the info to everyone listed when Steve emailed us about the show.
What does everyone think?
Or did anyone get any email addresses other than ours?

Kathryn, searching for inspiration in the pages of a comic book.

Alice reading about Michael Turner as Faeyth looks on

Dan and Rosemary, the Team Supreme!

No, wait: THIS is the team supreme!

And, our illustrious leader, Steve. He's all right, for a Yankee. Actually, he's a good guy no matter what.

Volunteer group shot

This is the most complete group shot we have. Well, the most complete group shot I have, anyway. These were the people at the end of the show.
Front row: Will, me, Lindsey
Second Row:Kathryn, Alice, Brian-The Bradster, and Rosemary
Back Row:Fayeth (I may be spelling that wrong), Jonathan, Josh, Al, Dan, Jeremy, Alicia "Fox" , the great and powerful Tom, and Brittany.
Virtually all of these people were here for their third year, or worked like they were. They made it the joy to be there that it was.

IT'S OVER!

Wizard World Texas has ended for the year, and I am already looking forward to next year. Met some cool new people, some cool old friends, and had a lot of fun and worked our butts off.
I'm throwing this together to allow some of us to share our experiences and keep in touch.
