This was my first Wizard World and first time to volunteer for a show. I was definitely down with the freebies that came with wearing that orange shirt. Talent Caldwell hooked me up. I wish I could have made it to the last couple of shows but I liked this one. I have to admit that between the hours of 8:00 - 10:00, I got really bored just standing around, but I guess that just comes with being a slave to wizard.
This was my third show, so James and I are getting to be old hands at this. (See picture of the back of my shirt.)
Attendence was down, but the spirit was up for me. Had way more fun this year, maybe because I had someone to ride shotgun for the trip (Kitty, thanks for putting up with me!)
The job you do for Wizard is only as boring as you make it. I pointed people to ticket sales for 3 days, and had a blast. When you have that orange shirt, people think you know what you are doing, so make them believe it! Fun is where you make it.
